Content can make or break a website. So it's important to get it right. But it isn't as simple as cutting and pasting your existing marketing copy into your website. Web users have short attention spans (so it needs to be succinct). And search engines like things written a certain way (so it needs to optimised for the web).
But before I write a word, I sit down with you and find out all I can about your business, your industry, your customers and your competitors. I then figure out the best of of tapping into web searches relevant to your industry by researching keywords and phrases and seeding them into your website. And then I make sure your sitemap is finalised (so we're clear on exactly what content you need).
From here, my approach depends on your needs: I can either work together with you to create your copy from scratch — or I can edit, polish and perfect your existing copy until it's snappy, consistent and on-brand. Either way, you'll end up with clear, concise and persuasive copy that tells your story and gives life to your product and ideas.
