About
Based in Melbourne, Watch Them Grow Photography specialises in on-location photography of families, newborns, babies and Children. Owner Jenn Bullen approaches her subjects with a relaxed approach and an emphasis on creating genuine emotional connections.
The project
Jenn already had a website built in Squarespace, but was wanting to give the site a fresh look with a focus on showcasing her various photography services.

Solution
As a first step, I looked at her portfolio and decided to separate her images into two sections - lifestyle and fine art - to better distinguish her styles to prospective clients.
I then moved her website into a newer, more flexible Squarespace template and updated the design to feature plenty of full-width images to show off her amazing photographs. Her most recent blog posts were showcased on the homepage to encourage prospective clients to browse through past photo sessions. And a customised blog filter was installed on her blog to make it easier for users to view only the posts that related to their preferred session type.
Finally, I set the business up with a MailChimp account and included a prominent sign-up banner in the footer of the website to help grow Jenn's mailing list.
